Like you, I like to surround myself with things that “make my heart sing”. Slowly I’m decluttering and ridding our home of stuff that doesn’t “move” me. It’s an exciting process and I’m finding “less is more”.

These are both very beautiful pieces of art and speaks volumes of the beauty of the owner. Why did it take you a long time to move away from the safety of bare walls?

I agree. I love photos of people, am addicted to them, in fact and my walls are lined with them. I love bright colours and patterns and I have gone to town in the kids’ rooms. My home has to be somewhere that I love and feel comfortable in.

PS I love your blog, it is a very relaxing place to be.
