Questions Flickr Mosaic
Dr. Cason on Jun 10th 2008
This is a meme that is currently floating around. I grabbed and fit it to my likings. I chose to create 3 mosaics and not one because I wanted the photos to really stand out. Above each mosaic I put the questions and my answers. Below each mosaic are the photo credits. These are [...]
The Power of Positivity
Dr. Cason on Jun 9th 2008
I drove to work today planning my next post- It was going to be sad and weepy and raw. Which it still probably is but it ends a little better than I thought it would.
There are so many things rattling around in my heart right now I just want to get it down. Off [...]
Little Bits of Nothing
Dr. Cason on Jun 8th 2008
Guinevere wrote about “nothing” the other day and I was delighted. It was a running stream of consciousness that illustrated what fills our thoughts on a moment to moment basis. It shows how one thought segues into another and another until we can’t remember what that original thought was. This often happens when I [...]
School’s Almost Over
Dr. Cason on Jun 7th 2008
In just a few days, school will be over for the summer and my little kindergartner will be all grown up. Well a first grader at least. It’s been a great year. One of my favorite times of the day is going to meet Gabby at her bus stop. Every day we all trot [...]
Egg, Wheat and Milk Allergy in Kids
Dr. Cason on Jun 6th 2008
The labs are back and it looks like Jake is allergic to eggs- if the vomiting and wheezing weren’t enough of a clue- the blood test confirms it. But surprisingly he also shows a possible allergy to wheat and milk. Hmmmm…what do you do with children who are allergic to eggs, wheat and milk?
As [...]

That’s right, he now has had his second hospitalization and third sudden severe asthma attack in 5 weeks. I’m so sleepy from the crazy night. I’ll talk more on my next post. Here’s some photos of his eventful time.
Good night everyone. Time to get some rest.

Dr. Cason on Jun 4th 2008
Hi Dr. Cason,
My 18-month old burned his fingertip on some hot glue the childcare workers were using for an arts and crafts project. (I have already written a very heated letter to the proper administrators informing them of my horror at hot glue being used with toddlers.) Anyway, his fingertip is white and swollen. I [...]

Hi Everyone!
I’ve chosen the next recipe from Coconut & Lime! If you haven’t checked out the only food blog that features 100% original recipes, then you must drop what you’re doing and go right over!

Why I Have Buddha in My Home
Dr. Cason on Jun 3rd 2008
I’m thinking I should take more risks. That I should step outside the box and just go with things that speak to my soul. I always envied the woman that was going to wear a purple hat when she got old. Why? I could wear a purple hat if I wanted to . But something [...]
The Value of Old and New Friendships
Dr. Cason on Jun 2nd 2008
I’ve been thinking about friendships a lot lately. Summer is almost here and my fellow Navy families here in Guam are moving in droves! Every time we turn around someone is hugging and crying. When you’re with the military and are uprooted on average every three years it’s easy to feel disconnected. The way you [...]
