They Didn’t Teach Me This in Medical School

Yeah!!!
I’m excited to say that I am guest posting over at Halushki today. Please go by and visit. You’ll find out what happened at my latest visit to my hairdresser and how I survived a flashback to medical school.
And while you’re there, stroll around the site. I think you’ll find it just as entertaining as I do.
When you’re done come back and see me!
I want to know- Have you done any guest posting? I had a hard time picking a subject and then it took me, no kidding, FOREVER to do because I kept revising it. I certainly don’t want her readers to be disappointed or for her blog to take a nose dive all because her week of guest posts started with me!
God help me. This is worse stress than getting my hair done!

Lisaon 02 Jul 2008 at 3:02 am 2I don’t think anyone thought my writing was fabulous enough to share on their blog. But I was thinking about having other people do it when I go on vaction.
Dr. Casonon 02 Jul 2008 at 5:23 am 3Audubon- I was worried all day that I wouldn’t make it in time or forget to do it or some unforeseen event would come up! And then after spending an enormously high amount of time on the post- way more than I spend on mine- I hit post and gobbly gook came back refusing to be published. I freaked and I started breathing a little fast until I could work it out.
Lisa- Oh!!!!Let me be clear. No-one came knocking on my door. She put out a calling on her blog and I took the challenge. I was actually afraid she’d say no given that she’s so funny. But she said yes. God bless her! And Lisa - you’re crazy! I love your writing so much I stumbled you. I hope it brings you some hits!
tiffon 02 Jul 2008 at 11:04 am 4I’ve done it once very early on in my blogging ‘career’. LOL

Linda Abbiton 02 Jul 2008 at 4:02 pm 6Hi Sheila,
Found you through your comments on BWAB and MomGrind.
Your guest post was written so well. It was a breath of fresh air — or should that be hair.
Looking forward to reading more here and also guest posts on Halushki’s blog. Here’s to much success with your blog & life.

veredon 02 Jul 2008 at 4:11 pm 7I haven’t done any guest posting yet… not sure I want to! My blog is very personal and I enjoy writing my own stuff. Writing for another blog would be a very different experience. Having said that: never say never.

Barbara Swaffordon 02 Jul 2008 at 4:48 pm 8Hi Dr. Cason,
Months ago I did a guest post on Catherine’s business blog. It was very nerve wracking. She was doing one on mine the same day. We were both pretty stressed, but got a good reception.
Due to the time it takes, I’ve avoided doing others.
You did great on your first guest post. I could envision you in that chair…
Great job!
