A Smattering of 4th of July Photos

4th of July was a big hit though
It has some cranky times. Sorry Jakey- Mommy had to take a photo.
Gabby spent most of her time in the pool. This was a rare moment out of the water. But then it was only seconds- notice the droplets.
Brianna loved the corn. She ate 3 pieces. Please Honey, save some for the others.
Jake was pretty delighted with the corn as well and carried it around everywhere as he watched the world go by.
Or at least a boat.
Alas there were no fireworks where we were. But Tumon Bay’s skyline was really pretty. Amazing how much beauty there is when you stay out after dark!

Lisa and Kyla- It is very beautiful here and very untouched in some places.
Nikkion 11 Jul 2008 at 5:46 am 5Wow, those photos are beautiful! I love the picture of your little boy all disgruntled! My little girl is only 2 months and seeing that picture makes me excited for all the ups and downs that I will get to experience!
I just started reading your blog and love it!

Dr. Casonon 11 Jul 2008 at 6:53 am 6Nikki- Welcome!! I too like the less than happy photo of Jake. Sometimes we get all caught up in the posed pics but the really natural ones also show their personality and this one is a perfect example!
Congratulations on your little girl. Enjoy her! My suggestion is to consider videotaping her sleeping. I never did that. I saved the video for when they got older and did “something”. But I’d give anything to be able to go back and watch them little, sweet and just breathing and sleeping. There’s something very gentle about their peaceful expression!
Nikkion 12 Jul 2008 at 8:21 am 7Thanks for the suggestion, we do have a couple of video’s of her waking up as that is possibly the cutest thing she does but none of her just sleeping! I will take that recommendation.

Dr. Casonon 13 Jul 2008 at 6:26 am 10Nikki- I recently met someone who was a middle child and I asked her about it. She said- Oh! I was the peanut butter! How cute is that? So I call little Bree my peanut butter. And we’re tabling the 4th child discussion for now.
Nikkion 14 Jul 2008 at 1:56 am 11Well you can always tell Mr Dr. Cason that you prefer peanut butter and jam sandwiches!
