Sweating it Out
Posted by Dr. Cason on Wednesday, July 16th, 2008
It’s still early here and Jakey is pretending to be asleep- crouched in the crumpled white bed covers sucking his thumb. He reminds me of Brianna. She loves to linger and wake up slowly too. Gabby? Out of bed immediately, bright eyed and bushy tailed. I miss the girls.
Off this am for a continental breakfast. Scouted the place out yesterday and found some good options for Jake. Fruit Loops ( I know don’t get me started!), oatmeal, fruit. Then we’re off to the big pink medical center. Yes you read right- HUGE. PINK. But very nice.
Just a sweat chloride test today and then we’re off to discover the island. John called last night and recommended Waikiki. Dad wants to see The Pipeline.
I’m game for anything. I’ll take my camera!

KellySRon 16 Jul 2008 at 5:28 am 2Hi, I found your site via Haluski, a friend of a friend, I love your blog, I am a mother of 3, former pediatric nurse/practitioner. Can relate to your mommy vs. dr. challenges… Keeping you in my thoughts, I hope you find some answers, or can live without knowing (does that make sense?) Anyway, you have a beautiful family/pictures/scenery. Maybe I will start a blog soon? Take Care

Just think, you’re a day closer to “knowing”. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Take lots of pictures.
Dr. Casonon 16 Jul 2008 at 6:24 pm 6Lisa- I had a beer. Does that count?
KelleySR- “Or can live without knowing” well put. I guess that’s how it is sometimes huh?
Tiff- It wasn’t too bad. I guess some kids don’t really mind it. He did. But he got over it pretty quickly- or so it seemed.
Tammy- Little Robby is sweet! I couldn’t check out too much. I’ll have to go back when time permits.
Barbara- Hi!! I miss your BWOAB crew but things have been crazy and it’s tough to keep up with posting much less with visiting. I appreciate you checking in!
