Hi Sheila,

Love it! I love the light and dark. What ISO was your camera on? I am impressed Jakey was able to be still long enough for such a low light setting. I've started cracking open my photoshop book more often and trying to teach myself some new tricks. I supposedly have a new digital photography class to teach that is starting up soon. We'll see how that goes...

Moon- I agree. :)

Donna- Thank you. I was actually surprised how the camera picked up the shadows.

Kyla- I know I can't ever stop kissing him. He pushes me aside sometimes and says, No Mama!! No kisses!

Guinevere- I turned the dial to TV and set the shutter speed from there. I kept looking at each pic I took and then adjusted the speed to allow enough light to illuminate him and yet capture the image pretty quick so he wouldn't blur.

Barbara- Aw thanks! It's not nearly as fantastic as I see other peoples but it's totally fun to experiment!

Trish- I carry my camera EVERYWHERE! And take photos of the most random stuff. Some of it slips out and makes it on my site. :)

Kat- I fear I am still missing so much that I will look back and cry that I didn't live and breathe every single second of them. I pray that they will grow up healthy and fulfilled and that one day I will enjoy their grandchildren as well!

What a precious, precious little guy! Sheila, so glad you are slowing down your blogging and other things to spend more time with your family.

I had two precious sons God gave me to raise, then they grew up and flew out of their nest like real Eagles. I am so proud of both of them, but so many times I wish I could just go back in time and spend some of those precious moments with the three of us once again.

I now depend on my three dogs and one cat to make the noise at my house, but it cannot replace those wonderful children I will never stop missing in my empty nest. The nice ending to this story is those Eagles got married and each had two beautiful grandchildren for me to enjoy, along with my new daughters too. So Grandma Kat still enjoys life with her family.

Give that precious face a sweet kiss for me from Memphis, TN - and the other two cuties too. Hope Jakey is feeling much better soon.

What wonderful photos! What an awesome 'eye' you have. I am impressed.

Once again you amaze me with your photography! I have a fantabulous camera and love taking pictures but just don't seem to slip it in to my normal routine.

Thank you so much for sharing! Keep it coming!

Hi Dr. Cason,

I'm jealous. I, too, love photography, but it sits on the back burner. What you did with these photos is awesome. So sweet!

I'd be interested in knowing your technical data for these...how did you get such sharp pictures in such low light? I never manage to succeed when I try!!
