I think the highlight of today for Jakey came at the end. We wandered down to Waikiki beach to watch the sunset. He stood mesmerized by a little boy who very sweetly offered him a shovel and scooted over to make room in his sand spot. They played side by side and I took photos. [...]

Another busy day at Tripler Medical Center ruling out Cystic Fibrosis with a sweat test. Here we are as the electrodes are attached to Jake’s arm to stimulate his sweat glands. It worked.
