A Farmer’s Market

Posted by Dr. Cason on Sunday, August 3rd, 2008

This was one of my favorite spots in Cairns Australia. I lingered over the mangoes and smelled the cantaloupe. I could have spent all day meandering amongst the fruit.

Personally, I am looking at those watermelons and drooling! I bought one of the small round seedless ones the other day from one of the orchards near my home – de-licious! Tinkerbell (my JRT/chi doggie) and I finished that sucker off pretty fast. She LOVES watermelon.

I need to find out if there is a farmer’s market close to me. I know there are some about an hour away, but that’s much too far to take a toddler if all I’m going to do is buy fruit!
