Thanks for Listening

If you caught my ramble yesterday, The Ugly Side of Being a Doctor, thanks for listening. And the incredibly kind words.
But I have to say again. I’m not all that special. I’m just human.
People help people all day long and I’m blessed to be one of them and getting paid to do it. I’d do it for free. It’s that much fun.
One day I’ll write about The Pretty Side of Being a Doctor, but for now I just might go back to a couple nice photos and talking about my kids again.
Book club is tomorrow and I’m reading Enrique’s Journey.
Still have half a book to go. Time to get crackin’.

Awesome Momon 20 Aug 2008 at 10:44 pm 1We are all just humans doing the best we can with what we have. I can’t tell you the number of times people have tried to put me on a pedestal because of Evan’s heart defect and stroke. They act like I am this uber amazing mom when I really feel like a normal mom. I deal with Evan’s issues because I have to and I love my son. I would rather him not have these issues but since he does I do the best I can with what I have. I am sure you are doing the same thing.
Kylaon 21 Aug 2008 at 12:17 am 2Anytime. One day, I hope to be doing the same work you are and it is reassuring to hear about the darker parts of it and see you still being fulfilled by it.

It’s addicting. And with photos as magnificent as yours, it would be a shame not to set them off in a gorgeous scrapbook layout! You’ve obviously got an artistic eye, so I’m sure you’d be great!

So, go out and continue to be the great Doctor you are!

Sara Rosson 22 Aug 2008 at 11:49 am 8Your welcome,
so that lady would probably not be happy with me, with the next question I am going to ask.
What kind of camera do you have?
My husband is big into photography – his major it college. He loves taking pictures and takes great ones like you.
Today as I was walking to work, I was walking behind a father bring his two kids to work with him. He was holding hands with both – one on each side.
I thought of you and thought what a great picture that is.
I should start carrying the camera around. It is amazing to really see what goes on around you every day.
