Evidence that summer is drawing to an end.

The Last Days of Summer

This sad little bath toy got tossed here I don’t know how many weeks ago.

Each day I passed him by and left him there.

Then the leaves fell and the rain dropped.

And he lay waiting.

Still.

    Audubon- Winter? No. But they do have a wet and dry season. We’re starting in the wet and I love it.

    My kids go back to school on Tuesday.

    I can’t say that I miss the STRICT SCHEDULE or crazy school mornings.

    Kyla- Oh don’t get me wrong the heat is still here. 85 all year long.

    Vered- Mine on Wednesday. I’m actually looking foward to a more regular routine. 1st grade. Woo Hoo! She’s growing up.

    Oh Sheila - This little bath toy laying there by himself makes he sad like the little playground creature sitting all alone and waiting for that “special” child to come.

    Please pick this little fella up, wash him good, and put him in the bath with Jakey to play! He needs a friend. . . .

    Yes, evidence that summer is ending…and school days beginning. We start on the 2nd. My wife is happy (in a melancholy kind of way).

    Chris- It’s the only way I can post everyday. I try not to write a book. Just a teeny bit at a time.

    Lance- Wednesday here is the first day. Glad and sad and yet glad again.
