Empty Chair

I was trailing after my group in Bali – which I always seemed to do since I would get distracted and get caught up taking pictures- when I ambled by this chair.
I paused and went back and took only one photo.
It’s one of my favorites of the over 800 pics I took that trip.
Here it is in Black and White- My husband says, “Oh no don’t even waste your time. It’s much better in color.” But I still kinda like it.

Kathleenon 11 Sep 2008 at 12:17 am 1SHEILA – I have to agree with your husband on this one. The beauty of that chair is its blue. It “feels” like it belongs in Bali near those beautiful blue waters and the boats you posted before. The B&W is nice, but my favorite is the colored picture.

Kathleenon 11 Sep 2008 at 3:34 am 4Kristin, that is what I was thinking too. It is the textures of the wall and the lace on the right that really makes you like the B&W somewhat, but it does nothing for the chair.

How about leaving the chair blue and making everything else black and white? I bet that would look really cool.
