Okay, bigmouth in Memphis has to respond to this picture first.

The things that stand out to me are what type of work does he do because of the motion in the picture and yet this leaves one having a mystery about this picture. The other two things that stand out to me even before this one are the beauty and shine in this attractive young man’s hair and his beautiful skin, and then I see this cigerette and think how soon this will change with this bad smoking habit. It is almost like I smell the smoke in his beautiful hair and on his beautiful skin without being able to truly smell the picture. And the deterioration I feel will take place in his health makes me sad.

It’s hard to take a good action shot. This one is great. GREAT. I love looking at ordinary people who do ordinary things. It means more than pretty people in magazines.

Your picture reminds me of the 5 or 6 huge salmon jumping in the reflections of the sunrise on my lake walk this morning and several harbor seals were working across the road from salt to fresh water at 5 am.
Canadian geese V ing overhead and not a cloud in the sky to block the Mountains in the East – and where was my camera? a mile and a half up hill.

What a memory of all of nature hard at work! Thank you for sharing this great shot and making a recall.

PATRICIA – Oh my gosh that sounds beautiful. Wish I could be right there experiencing it myself. Where do you live?

Olympia, Washington on Capital Lake right downtown beneath the Capital Building on the bluff
I will try to remember my camera in the future…for it is just stunningly beautiful and a true gift.
