An Officer and A Gentleman

He took out the dress whites tonight, dusted them off and prepared for his Dining-In.

I watched him go through all the motions, laughing and talking and looking so official all the while.

I smiled as he went to leave. It was all I could do not to run after him and jump in his arms ala Debra Winger in An Officer and A Gentleman.

Gets me everytime.

Who doesn’t love the choker whites? We just had a dining out a couple weeks ago. It’s so nice to see everyone all dressed up…but especially my guy. He’s almost sure to get lucky afterward. ;)

Thanks for commenting back, I am much more relaxed to day….

It’s funny, when my husband pulls out his skate board and rides around or tells scary nursing stories, I drool. I can’t help it. He so cool.

SHEILA - This is such an AWESOME picture of such a handsome young man serving his country with honor. I hope you blow this one up large and hang in your home as well as putting on your desk at work (watch all the other women drool too).

It is so beautiful to see two people with a lovely family of three still so in love and with so much passion for each other. May God continue to bless you with all that love and passion, and may you grow very, very old together (with lots of grandchildren to spoil too).

Hey, please give him a big passionate kiss and let me know how it feels. It has been so long since I had that kind of passion in my life.

Our men *do* look wonderful in their uniforms!

I passed mine on the street yesterday. We were driving our cars in opposite directions; he was coming home from work, and I was on my way to pick up kids from after-school activities. Another 20 yards down the road, I had to call him on his cell phone, just to tell him how handsome he looked!

Isn’t it wonderful to be in love with the father of your children?

    Have a great day!

Such a wonderful picture, I LOVE black and white photos. I love it when my “John” wears his dress whites. I can’t help but look at him and feel so proud. Take care and God bless all of you.

HaHaHa!!- See you guy get it too! One day I was driving down the hill and he was coming up in his mustang. I recognized the car from far away and just as he got closer he lifted his hand up off the steering wheel in a “Hey” kinda way. I waved back. It was like we were dating again. And I was watching him from afar, still getting to know him. It was cool.
