That's a beautiful picture.

Oddly, I kind of have a thing against moss. It reminds me of visiting my sister in Washington State--which is waaaay too rainy for my San Diego soul--and seeing all the green under a grey sky in the days before she died.

My home office is a beautiful shade of green, which goes well with the brown furniture. Actually, someone once told me that my apartment was decorated in a Bali-style :-) It's kind of like bringing the outside world inside. And I agree the color green just makes you feel good.

Hi Dr. Cason - This reminds me of when I saw the Rainforest in Washington state. It was beautiful, just like your photos.

Sheila - So beautiful. I think it is the feeling if you touch this moss it will be so soft. Also, it is amazing to see something grow and thrive on a big rock. Some of God's unique handiwork one might say. Don't you love the way He reminds us in such suttle ways of His presence in everything.

I have a room I had painted with a very pale shade of sage green. It has lots of light coming in, as I just have a very pretty print brocade valance with shades of green in it on that window. It is supposed to be my "new office" if I ever get it sit up. It also has a wonderful light beige tile floor. I just love this room and the color too.

In former times, I did not think of myself as a "green person," but our dining room recently took on a beautiful sage/moss layer of paint and I love it! Just looking at it now brings me a feeling of calmness, happiness, and peace -- all rolled into one color. I get that same feeling when I look at this photograph of yours. Perhaps I am a "green person" after all?
