Balance

I’m writing this a few days ahead because it’s my birthday weekend and I refuse to sit on the computer when I could be connecting in real life.
Little Miss Blue eyes is home sick from school.Yep. The GI bug crossed to her! Sorry baby.
Feeling better right now. Cried this morning and wrote a mildly depressing post. Holding off on posting it since I feel better. When I start crying again, I’ll post it. God this is getting pathetic.
I was looking through my Bali pics and saw this one. I can’t even fathom how she can do that. But I guess it can be done. Because there it is. She carrying a baby, her other child is in front of her on a busy road. ( I took the photo through the cab window) and yep she carrying an enormously large load on her head.
Man! And I can’t even manage to bring the bags in from the car by myself!
I guess it’s all about balance.

Yes, but don’t underestimate your “heavy load” also lady. Her children may be very healthy, and I bet her son is not having health issues which are worrying her as well.
Also, I doubt she goes to work and gets emotionally involved with parents and “their” children’s health issues each day.
Needless to say, I doubt she blogs regularly trying to help others with their children’s issues as well.
There, feel better now. Hope so. Sheila, you are entirely too hard on yourself - step back and put on a big smile and give yourself a pat on your back. Hope you feel better soon. I know what you mean about that depressed feeling myself - I blew my depressed blues out the window, now you do the same! “Don’t give anyone or anything the right to depress your life with so much joy in it now.”
Hey, watch this video of our twin “wild child” Jesse for a good laugh:

I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful tear-free birthday! Love the photo- very intriguing. She really IS talented.
That photo is impressive!
I hope your weekend is wonderful and melancholy stays far away for a while. Sometimes just writing the post is enough to help it ease up for a bit, even if you never post it.
Hi Dr. Cason - what an amazing photo. I can’t imagine balancing a load like that on my head.

Vodkamom- It was good. Spent with family and back at the ER for a breakthrough fever. *sigh*
Kyla- Yes I have a few sad posts that I’m hanging on to for now…
Barbara- She’s cool as a cucumber huh?
Can anyone explain the technique being used to achieve such balance
Happy birthday!
