Like Little Puppy Dogs

These two are like little puppy dogs in a little basket. Except it’s not a basket it’s my bed. And there’s no room for me.

Awesome Momon 05 Oct 2008 at 12:11 am 3Too cute! My kids don’t like to sleep in bed with us (which mostly I am very thankful for) but they do love to get on our bed and jump around. It is a very interesting way to wake up.

Elizabethon 05 Oct 2008 at 1:14 am 4I’m always amazed at how kids sleep. Mine do the same thing, tangling themselves up, all arms and legs. I think it’s in their genetic code.
Lisaon 05 Oct 2008 at 1:33 am 5I’m jealous. Not of them in your bed, but of how very much asleep they are.

Kathleenon 05 Oct 2008 at 2:57 am 6Oh, how sweet. To have those two little boys of mine coming in and crawling up after a nightmare again would be sweet bliss. There is nothing more beautiful than the innocent face of a child sleeping!
Perfect title too - reminds me of my three pups sleeping in mamma’s bed - no room for the old lady too sometimes.

Kathleenon 05 Oct 2008 at 4:12 am 7Just found this article in our Commercial Appeal in Memphis, TN, and had to share with everyone. I’m sure there are several Navy wives on this blog, and thought you might enjoy seeing this. Millington, TN has been the home to the Navy for 10 years now (this is only about 5-10 minutes from my house). Here is to the Navy men and women who serve our country. Thank you all!
BTW, there were 800 sailors in their Navy whites! Wow, wish I could have been there to see all the handsome men!

myston 05 Oct 2008 at 1:24 pm 8What is it about Mum and Dads bed that is just ‘better’ sometimes?
When my husband was on night shift years ago - and Small Man was indeed little (2 or 3) he would wake up through the night and sneak in with me, I’d find him in the morning - I don’t know how but he just ‘knew’ Dad was at work!

kcinnovaon 05 Oct 2008 at 1:55 pm 9Too cute
This is why I could never sleep decently with a kid in my bed — a kid can sleep with a leg across his face! Me? not so much.
Dr. Casonon 06 Oct 2008 at 2:28 pm 10Nikki- Well I don’t suck my thumb!
Kyla- I know! That’s why I ran for the camera.
Awesome- Aggghhh! I hate the jumping. I always envision a broken neck or a laceration or two.
Elizabeth- A tangle of arms and legs. Great description!
Lisa- Poor thing! Get some sleep girl!
Kathleen- I’ll check it out! Might take me some time. I’m always running behind!
Myst- They always know.
Kcinnova- LOL! Me? Not so much either!
