The circus looked fun. I want to go to one now. I'll have to keep an eye out for when one comes.

Great photos! I've only been to the circus once, some friends of mine found out I had never been and decided they had to fix that problem immediately!

Wow , looks like a fun night.
They will always be yours, Sheila.. Your girls, just more aloof about it all. My big girls are learning independence and my middle girl has always been her own person but when they need some TLC they always stop by my lap and they are 12 and 10.

When I was 5 years old, my family had tickets to go to the circus. I still remember begging my dad to still take me even after I came down with the chicken pox.
When I was in high school, my mom and best friend and her mom all went out on a drive together. We ended up in the parking lot where the circus had been. We sat and watched in awe as the elephants helped tear down the tent. I wish that I would have had my camera that night. One of the elephants started going crazy and the trainer got it to calm down and it started working again. That night was better than going to the circus.
Your photos are great!!! And it's fun to hear the stories of your kids. :)

Hey Logan - Isn't it a small world. You do not know how much comfort this gives me hearing your words. I have heard so many horror stories, and these things always upset me so much.

I would love to learn more about the treatment of the animals from you. I'll send you an e-mail this week. If it is okay, I would also love to share your blog with my brother. He would probably enjoy sharing some of his Ringling Brothers photos with you, and yours with him too.

Thanks for the word of encouragement about the circus. I feel better already.

I'm allergic to animals so I haven't been to a circus in a very very long time. This would have been perfect! The photos are beautiful. Those 4 year olds are something, one minute they are BIG and the next they are small. I get to see my almost 5 year old niece in a few weeks she calls me Tottie (for Auntie) and I hope she never changes that word to Auntie or Aunt. I love being called Tottie.
