He's absolutely adorable, and looks very skilled. When I was a little tyke, I was always jealous of kids like him. I was (and am) so uncoordinated I could probably throw myself at the ground and miss.

Well for the record, we've always done helmets but somehow when they were practicing and just having a little fun going around in circles, they left it off. Now the girls have put them back on without a fuss, but the boy- nothing doin! It's driving me crazy!

Sheila - If you take the children shopping for the helmet and let THEM pick out one with their super heroes, they will probably love wearing the helmets. If you cannot find one, then purchase plain helmets and have a "decorating contest" allowing them to all decorate their helmets with some stick on plastic crafts of their heroes. You might check at the craft place to see what type of finishes you could spray on top of these to keep them in good shape after the craft.

Don't take chances with those beautiful children please. They all need helmets - girls too. I had to look at the pictures again this morning - they left me SMILING. He is SOOOO cute.

I love it! Little speedy guy!
My kids all wear helmets. it's the law in Australia. So I tell them they have no choice. Mind you, when they are scooting around the verandah I don't see many on...

Ah, yes. No question on the helmet. As far as my own kids, and recommendations in my practice, I start out with a helmet the day they're first on wheels (trike, skates, etc.), no matter how slow they're going, and it's every time, so there's never any argument or question of possible riding without it.

PLEEEZE, get that wild man a helmet! He is adorable on this thing. I so miss these cute days with my two sons - somehow they are just not as adorable at 27 and 30 years of age. . . You go Jakey, but with that helmet on please!
