These two are like little puppy dogs in a little basket. Except it’s not a basket it’s my bed. And there’s no room for me.

Can I tell you how delighted I am that my friend took these photos. As the photographer I’m not often in the pictures. I really don’t mind but it is great to see us together. Little Miss Sunshine just turned 4 this past May.  She’s my middle girl the one who sneaks in at 3:00 [...]

I’m writing this a few days ahead because it’s my birthday weekend and I refuse to sit on the computer when I could be connecting in real life.

What is it about the pretty layers of moss that I find so appealing?
We were making our way out from an elephant preserve when I saw this just by the entry way.
Reminds me of tromping through the forests when I was a kid. The color green just makes you feel good.

If there was one take away lesson from Bali I learned, it was to find beauty in the simple things.
We were seated at breakfast early one morning surrounded by fruit and sweetened rice. The smells and sounds were so new and overwhelming it all I could do just to sit there and take it all [...]

I was trailing after my group in Bali - which I always seemed to do since I would get distracted and get caught up taking pictures- when I ambled by this chair.
I paused and went back and took only one photo.
It’s one of my favorites of the over 800 pics I took that trip.
