Do Self Help Books or Blogs Really Help?
Dr. Cason on Jul 11th 2008
There was a bit of a debate at my book club last night.
We were discussing the bestselling book “Happiness is a Serious Problem” by Dennis Prager. Prager tell us that that the only way to achieve happiness is to take responsibility for your life rather than blaming others and how to treat happiness not as an end goal but [...]
Chop the Tension Away!
Dr. Cason on Jul 10th 2008
I love to cook. Something about the smell and the feel of the ingredients under my hands. As I chop away the tension also starts to flow. That is unless there are screaming kids under my feet. Then I’m yelling, HOT STOVE! EVERYBODY OUT!
But as they get older they join in with me and we [...]
A Smattering of 4th of July Photos
Dr. Cason on Jul 7th 2008
4th of July was a big hit though
It has some cranky times. Sorry Jakey- Mommy had to take a photo.
Gabby spent most of her time in the pool. This was a rare moment out of the water. But then it was only seconds- notice the droplets.
Brianna loved the corn. She ate 3 [...]
There’s Bubble Gum on My Foot
Dr. Cason on Jul 4th 2008
There’s a chewed piece of bubble gum stuck to my foot. I’m not lying. I just noticed it. Don’t ask because I have no idea.
I also have a tattoo on said foot. My only tattoo. It means earth. It hurt. My BFF has one too.
It’s fourth of July here. Remember Guam is “Where America’s Day [...]

Dr. Cason on Jun 25th 2008
Currently this is my special place.
Now that it is summer and Gabby-Girl is going to camp I’ve had to adjust my schedule a little. I now have to get up a little earlier to get the kids off to camp/daycare. I could wait till the last minute, get everybody off and then come sliding [...]

Here John got my attention and was trying to tell [...]

A Father’s Day Adventure
Dr. Cason on Jun 15th 2008
My husband popped up suddenly after dinner and started making this tent. The kids were thrilled and I- a little perplexed. He explained, “Some of the greatest memories from childhood were spent under a makeshift tent in the living room.”
They sat there for hours snuggled in watching a movie. Every once in a while rustling [...]
Why I Have Buddha in My Home
Dr. Cason on Jun 3rd 2008
I’m thinking I should take more risks. That I should step outside the box and just go with things that speak to my soul. I always envied the woman that was going to wear a purple hat when she got old. Why? I could wear a purple hat if I wanted to . But something [...]
Discover the Hidden Details in Your Photos
Dr. Cason on May 28th 2008
We took this photo on a boat to Green Island, Australia. Brianna was mesmerized by the ocean, the sharks and the other incredibly friendly passengers.
Only later when I was analyzing the photo did we notice the details!
